-This is a whole school event. Come with your families and have dinner, build a family charter, create an art project and check out the book fair.

-Each student can work with their families to complete all 3 activities (art space activity, family charter in the gym, and book fair in the library)

    - Pizza will be served from 6-6:30pm. Come, sit down and enjoy some great pizza with your family and friends.

-Family event: create a Family Charter. Using the curriculum RULER, students and staff have created school wide charters for how we want to feel at school and how we can successfully overcome conflict. Now the next step is to bring it to the whole school community. The Family charter activity can build understanding and empathy for the needs of every family member and reinforce skills learned at school.

    Art space:

    - Go on an art walk around the school hallways and check out all the great art work our students have been creating

-Stop by the art space and do a family art project to support your family charter that you created in the gym.

-Bring a gently used winter wear to donate to local shelters. Items like socks, coats, hats and gloves are always needed. There will be a drop off station in the art space.

-Book fair will be in full swing. Stop by the library and check out all the great books the fair has to offer.

-Candy grams will be on sale for .50 cents each, or a class set can be purchased for $10.

-Family giving tree: grab a mitten from the tree and support our McGilvra community.
